April 26th Update
Hey you guys, it's Daniela, one of your assistant directors from 6th period,
I'm just writing to update you all on some of the happenings in regards to our project.
First off, I'd like to give MAJOR kudos to all of the people who have worked EXTREMELY hard to put all of the themes, pictures, and timeline dates and details together. Without you, this project would probably fall apart. They've shown an amazing amount of dedication by putting in extra hours after school and on our days off to get those details done.
A Monday Update
Hey everyone, it's Anna from 8th period!
So as of right now, everyone should have picked a partner as well as signed up for a the theme they wanted, and if you haven't please do this as soon as possible! We will be handing out the assignments as soon as storyboarding is complete so that you guys can all get started on the actual flash part. As for storyboarding, storyboarders and anyone who is willing to help, we need to get this done this week, and so we are holding meetings after 8th in Gold House everyday this week. Artist and musician meetings will also be taking place this week. Since we do not have storyboarding complete at the moment, most of our check-up dates will be pushed back to allow enough time for the flash to get done. We will email everyone once we know what those dates are. As always, if you have any questions, please email us at wyworldlit2010@gmail.com. Have a great Monday night.
A Wee Little Project Update
Hey guys! Paige here from 8th period! So today we had a small directors meeting, and decided we need to push back a few deadlines, mainly for the storyboarders. We really want the scenes to be detailed, so when we create them in Flash we will know exactly what to do. In the long run, this will end up taking less time to complete each 2 minute segment that your group is responsible for. We also assigned each artist to a certain topic, as well as each photographer.
Hey Framers! Let's get Moving!! :)
Hello everyone! So today, our Storyboarders from each class will be meeting to finalize their thematic plans for the Moving Frames project. Please keep in mind that each illuminated text pair must submit their theme request by Monday April 19th. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to submit them online (this way, everyone else with the same question can see it). Thanks much! Have a great weekend.
It's Coming Together
Hullo, it's Isabel, one of your 5th period assistant directors
Just to remind y'all, storyboarders are meeting tomorrow morning at 8 AM at Borders on Sate and Lake. They're busy little bees getting all these themes worked out so you can pick which ones you want, which will be happening Monday starting at 5 AM (eek!). Please remember to put both partners, and the period each is in. Also, remember to pick a second (and maybe third) choice.
Beginning of the project
Hey guys, it's Sam
So, everything is going well. The storyboarders are doing their thing and we shoul be sticking to the schedule we've planned out. We should have parts for you guys to animate in Flash on Monday. Also, on Monday we should have theme assignments for the artists so you guys know what to make.
Everything's going great!
-Sam Mendez
