Anglosaxon Poetry Exeter Wifes Lament Per A Oct 15, 2010

 We go over some of the poems and riddles from the Exeter Book - notably "The Wife's Lament" and "The Husband's Message" - though these poems appear together in our class - and it is fun to think of the latter being a response to the former; they do not appear together in the Exeter Book.  In any case, the students really like them.  This is the Period A discussion for the year.
