The choices we make dictate the lives we lead.

I use this at the beginning of the school year to get my students to realize that every act has a consequence and opens up a door to more choices. Choices dictate character and my students love that we get into a philosophical debate about character, choices and fate. Students still quote this back to me years after graduation!
