the cover of a Beowulf comic This is the project I have my 11th grade students complete after reading Beowulf. Basically, they are required to "pitch" an original graphic novel in the tradition of Beowulf to Marvel Comics. In their pitch, students must to explain why their comic meets the criteria of an Anglo-Saxon epic.

Full text, downloads, and audio for ALL lessons are made visible and available to users who have earned 50 points. An uploaded original lesson is one way to earn 2 - 50 points.
